February
8, 2010 The Top
Gun Board of Directors in a move to honor players, managers, individuals
through their valuable contributions to senior softball have established the Top Gun Hall of Fame. From the first members
of the Top Gun Board of Directors in the mid-80’s to the players of the first
Top Gun senior softball team in 1992 to the newest members of the two Top Gun
50+ teams many individuals have dedicated countless hours and years to
support the Top Gun Senior Softball organization. We as a Board are proud of
the valuable contributions all of these individuals have made in preserving
the vision and philosophy of Top Gun Senior Softball. There are three
categories by which an individual may be nominated and inducted into the Top
Gun Hall of Fame. Any person may be submitted to the Board for consideration
as an Honorary, Manager, and/or Player. Each one of the categories contains
specific eligibility requirements. Those qualified inductees shall have met
the minimum requirements in their respective categories. Please see the
attached criteria to nominate deserving individuals. The Board of Directors
is excited about this new program to honor deserving individuals and the
ability to appropriately honor the inductees at the inaugural Top Gun Hall of
Fame Tournament on Saturday July 10th in Fallbrook. This
invitational tournament is open to Top Gun Teams only, so check with your
team managers for the details. Thank you for your support of the Top Gun Hall
of Fame. Kevin
