Top Gun Holds 1st Annual Softball Association Picnic and Softball Hitting Skills Competition
The Top Gun Softball Association held it’s first ever association picnic and softball skills hitting competition this Saturday the 14th of July. Winners of the softball skills hitting competition were first place, Sergio Vargas with Steve Vin Curek and Jim Palacek finishing second. The first place winner collected $100 and the runner-up’s split the second place prize of $100. The event was well attended as the picnic pictures will attest. Many thanks to all that helped and to all those who attended. See ya next year.

Top Gun Softball Association is partnering with Scripps Mercy hospital to ask for donations of clothing for the homeless population that Scripps Mercy hospital serves every month. As a example Scripps Mercy hospital handled 500 homeless patients last month alone. Items needed are men’s and women’s shoes, pants (including sweat pants) and shirts. All sizes in all items will be greatly accepted and appreciated. This is part of the Top Gun Softball association efforts to be more involved in the community of which we live.
