Top Gun Elite 60 Wins Rocky Mountain Championship

Top Gun Elite (CA) posted a 3-0 record in bracket play in the five-team Men’s 60 Major Division, including a 23-17 win over top seed Pope Transport (WI) in the championship game. Arizona Old School finished in third place. Here is breakdown of games starting with seeding games. Played Pope Construction from Wisconsin and lost 22-14 in our first seeding game on Saturday. Second seeding game we played Nebraska 60’s and won 13-7. Finished seeding at 1 & 1. Sunday started our bracket play against the Nebraska team again, and beat them 24-12, Second game of the day we played Arizona Old School to a well fought 7 inning tie 24-24, In the eighth inning they put up one run as visitors and we came in and scored two to win 26-25. Ended up as the only undefeated team that day so top seed Pope came into the final games having to win twice. Stayed hot and went on to beat them 23-17  in the first game for the championship.
