Bill was a long standing manager of 65 and 70+ teams. He was a member of the Top Gun Board of Directors from 2006 until he was inducted into the HOF. He recruited many players to the organization for all ages. When he was inducted into the HOF, Red Simmons characterized Chappy as a true ambassador of senior softball and the Top Gun organization.
